Know what you are dealing with before you disturb it.
Suspect an older material may contain asbestos? We can assess visible materials and, where appropriate, arrange authorised sampling and laboratory analysis to help you plan the next step.
Ask about your property →From a visual review to a clear next step.
Tell us where the material is, what work you are planning and whether it is damaged or likely to be disturbed. The scope is tailored to the property and the question you need answered.
- Visual review of accessible suspect materials
- Assessment of material location and apparent condition
- Sampling where safe, appropriate and authorised
- Laboratory analysis where confirmation is required
- Explanation of results and practical next steps
Appearance alone cannot confirm whether a material contains asbestos. We will discuss the need for testing and provide an individual quote before work proceeds.
Look first. Disturb nothing unnecessarily.
Older cladding, eaves, wet-area linings, flooring and other building products may warrant a closer look. We document what can be seen and discuss the right way to confirm a concern.
Photos can help us understand your question, but a photo or visual appearance alone cannot establish whether asbestos is present.

Confirm when the answer matters.
Where a sample is appropriate, it can be collected under an agreed scope and sent for laboratory analysis. We then explain the result and what it means for planned maintenance or renovation.
If a material may contain asbestos, avoid cutting, drilling or removing it until it has been assessed. Removal, if required, is a separate service for appropriately licensed removal specialists.
Tell us what you need checked.
Provide the property location, the materials that concern you and any proposed works. We will confirm the suitable scope and quote before arranging an inspection or sampling.
